📦 Migrated key critical business logic out of an large workflow and stood them up as separate services so we could reuse the logic for future growth

📦 Developed a project to allow merchants to purchase labels from a variety of carriers where we optimized by shipping speed and cost which leads to a reduction in label costs by 30%

📦 Active participation in L1 / L2 on-call duties for transportation systems that typically see loads of about 30 label purchase requests per sec.

Launched Zone Skipping project which involved creating small package rates and determining which node-to-node configuration is optimal for performing a middle mile injection in order to save costs! This process was able to scale horizontally by utilizing AWS Lambdas and Gateway.

• Created user interfaces to allow drivers to input fuel tax reports that eliminate outdate processes

• Developed data replication processes and performing software / hardware maintenance on a monthly and quarterly basis

During my time at ULL I learnt most of my key skills that have I have taken through my career such as teamwork and working to tight deadlines. I thouroughly enjoyed my time as university and learnt a lot about a healthy work life balance.

I spent a lot of my free time working IT Support at Lafayette Data Systems and Dupre Logistics doing early database cleanup and simple business programming.
